Work & Experience

I work across three areas that don't usually share a resume: content and communication, procurement and operations, and research. Here's what each one involves, and some of the work it's produced.

01 Content & Communication

I help companies say what they actually do. That means website messaging, homepage and service page copy, editorial strategy, SEO and AEO, AI visibility, and content systems that hold up after I'm no longer the one writing every page.

Most of this work is for small B2B service companies whose websites don't match how good their actual work is: federal contractors, consultants, and technical service firms in particular

02 Procurement & Operations

I've spent years inside purchasing and business operations: vendor communication, requisitions, purchase orders, ERP systems, delivery documentation, and the coordination that keeps an organization's spending decisions defensible.

A lot of my skepticism toward generic B2B marketing copy comes from here. I've seen how these decisions actually get made, and it's rarely the version marketing content assumes.

03 Research & Information

My undergraduate work in Information Science and e-Society sits behind most of what I write about AI, search, and digital platforms: how people find information, how they decide what to trust, and how systems, search engines, feeds, and now AI answers, shape all of that before a reader even notices.
